When booking vendors we know how over-whleming it can be. Looking at images can only cover so much ground. Are they reliable? Organized? Calming? Licensed? Are these even things you think about when booking your beauty pro? Well they should be, and it isn't talked about enough.

BOOKING SCHEDULE: Do they work with you on yout schedule and are flexible with timing? Do they have different fees for early arrivals or touch ups? Are they leaving enough time for you to get dressed or take photos?

CONENT THEY POST: Do you see people on their page that resemble your hair type, skin type, or style? Some Artists have one type of look and their portfolio will show their strong points. Make sure your personal style is being represented. A versitile artist is something to aim.

EXPERIENCE & LICENSING: Are they legit? There are a lot of people who do wonderful at their own makeup or friends and family, but are they used to other faces, skin types, or textures? Are they licensed in knowing what is sanitary or not? When investing in your day, the way you look directly affects how you feel. Relieve the stress and start the day off right, there are already other stressors you face the morning of your wedding, don't let the glam be one of them.

DO THEY LISTEN: Sure - Miscommunication happens during the planning stages, but do they listen to your needs as a beauty pro? Make sure they are tailoring to your style, your day and are open to suggestions when planning your look. Someone with experience will encourage self expression and customization, nobody wants to be put into a wedding trend box.

REVIEWS: Make sure in the reviews it isn't just about the services, but about how they made their clients feel.
